Publication Practical Welding Today, owned by FMA Communications, is to become ‘The WELDER’.
Whilst maintaining its readership and issue frequency, it has been announced that the journal will have a brand new look with new features – and the first release to showcase the changes will be the September/October edition.
Readers will have more opportunities to take part in features, such as ‘Welding Hacks’, where subscribers get in touch to submit their own solutions from the field.
For online subscribers, there will be more of an interactive approach, with case studies, videos and webinars – additional features not see in print.
“Welders are passionate about their craft,” said Amanda Carlson, editor of The WELDER. “We spend a lot of time with our readers, and we know that they are very creative and proud of what they do. These changes reflect the spirit of our subscribers. And the content is more practical than ever.”
